Sacrifice

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world but forfeit his own soul? Matt 16:26
Everything has a price and a sacrifice of some kind. If you choose a life on the road, you sacrifice missing birthdays, weddings, funerals, and everything else. If you choose kids, a picket fence, a 9-5 job, and a dog, you can't pick up, be free, and travel to the Grand Canyon by yourself any time you want just cause.
I say all this because I've spent my whole life running to bigger and better things. I'm a go getter, a busy body, and a recovering career addict. I'm learning things such as having the whole world, riches, fame, and all the rest of it comes with great sacrifices and You face those little choices everyday. You have to choose what's important to you. What are you willing to sacrifice? Your family? Your friends? Your job?Your soul?
